When someone dies, people can find any religious faith they have either seems stronger and more important or it can suddenly seem irrelevant and valueless. Some previously devout people find it impossible to believe in any God that could let their loved person die. Others, in similar situations, find their faith and prayers to be wonderfully comforting. Different faith traditions respond differently to death and have different ways of noting the personís death and the personís life. If you have previously belonged to a particular faith tradition and now find yourself full of questions, the leader of your community will, hopefully be able to offer you some support.
