Winston's Wish Sunrise Walk 2010

We’re thrilled to announce the exciting news that our Sunrise Walks are back for 2010! After two successful flagship events in Gloucestershire and West Sussex in 2009 this unique and special walk has become a highlight of the Winston’s Wish year for us and for everyone who takes part.

There will be two Winston's Wish Sunrise Walks again this year and you can choose to join us in either:

West Sussex on Sunday 19th September 2010 or in
Gloucestershire on Saturday 25th September 2010

Places are limited and after such a successful first year lots of our wonderful walkers have already put their name down to be a part of something special again!

The Winston’s Wish Sunrise Walks are sponsored events open to both men, women and children aged over 8 years old. The events will start before day break, on a route of ten miles with participants walking into the sunrise.

You might want to walk to celebrate the memory of someone special, enjoy a unique challenge with friends, set yourself a fitness goal or you may have heard about our first spectacular year and don’t want to miss out this time! Whatever your reason, you’ll be raising vital funds to give bereaved children the support they need to build positive futures.

At the start of the walk there will be a few minutes for participants to remember someone important, make a wish for the future or just have fun before the walk as part of a colourful glow-stick parade.

Each walker will receive a special Winston's Wish Sunrise Walk T-shirt, goodie bag and a well deserved breakfast at the finish.
