Volunteering at Winston’s Wish

Volunteers are a vital part of Winston’s Wish; we depend on the help of many hundreds of people to ensure that we are able to support all of the bereaved children and families who contact us.

Time is a valuable gift and we value any time that volunteers are able to give, whether it be for an hour, a day, a weekend, regularly or just now and again. Whichever way you choose to support us, you can be assured that your help makes all the difference.

People from all walks of life enjoy their volunteering experience with Winston’s Wish. They become involved for many different reasons – to develop skills and experience towards a career, to be involved in something that feels important to them, to meet new people, to fill in some spare time or just because they can.

We provide regular support and ongoing training to all our volunteers, in a friendly environment. We welcome ideas and feedback and like volunteers to be involved as much or as little as they wish – you are part of the Winston’s Wish Team!
