The last few pages were hard to write and must have been almost unbearably difficult to read.
However, facing your very worst fear may at least enable you to discuss it with your partner or someone you trust. It is so important that you find ways of responding to this fear so that your spirit and love for the people you care about can shine through.
The activities on the next few pages should help you to feel less overwhelmed by the fear, cope with the good days and the bad days, and live life to the full right now. The ideas will probably be best completed on days when you feel stronger and have some energy. Above all, we hope you will be able to enjoy family life – because the spirit of family life is stronger than any illness and it can last forever.
