Winston’s Wish, the charity for bereaved children, is looking forward to a Posh Car Boot Sale at Longdole Polo Club to raise much needed funds for the charity.
Brimpsfield Music Society are dedicated to providing support to aspiring young musicians across Gloucestershire and will hold the event for the third year running. With over 100 sale sites expected, the event is sure to be another great success.
This year, 25% of the money raised will be donated to Winston’s Wish to help children, young people and their families rebuild their lives after the death of a parent or sibling, enabling them to face the future with confidence and hope.
Winston’s Wish has been supporting bereaved children and their families for almost 25 years. They operate in three regional hubs; the South West, South East and North West, as well as nationally through a helpline and several specialist services.
The event runs from 11am until 3pm on Sunday 4th September at Longdole Polo Club, Birdlip, GL4 8LH. Entry is £2 per person. If you wish to exhibit at the event, please call Patrick on 01452 864692 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Pre-booking only accepted, with a cost of £15 per vehicle.
Elizabeth Thatcher, Community Fundraiser at www.WinstonsWish.org.uk, added:
“We’re really excited about the Posh Car Boot Sale and can’t wait to see all of the stands and punters – fingers crossed for good weather! A big thank you to Longdole Polo Club for hosting and the Brimpsfield Music Society for organising the event in support of our work with bereaved children.
