Winston’s Wish, the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK, is delighted to benefit from the fantastic new local music festival Rovin’ Fest, taking place 17-19th July.

Rovin’ Fest is a boutique family festival set within the panoramic backdrop of the Cotswold hills. Located at Cheltenham RFC (Newlands Park, Southam), Rovin’ Fest boasts a line-up including chart-toppers The Hoosiers, Dub Pistols, Ghetto Funk Allstars alongside a host of local, up-and-coming acts.

Winston’s Wish, who provide therapeutic bereavement support to children and young people who have suffered the death of mum, dad or a sibling, will have a strong presence at the three-day event. Festival goers will have the chance to donate to the Cheltenham-based charity while they sing and dance to over 70 acts across three stages.

Liz Thatcher, Community Fundraiser at Winston’s Wish, is excited to be part of Rovin’ Fest. She said:

“It’s really exciting to be involved with Rovin’ Fest and we’re extremely grateful to Subtone Promotions for letting us bucket collect and chat to the festival goers about the vital work we do here in Gloucestershire and beyond.

There will be a second-hand toy market in aid of Winston’s Wish and you’ll spot our volunteers nearby the dance and circus workshops, kids’ entertainers and funfair. We can’t wait for Rovin’ Fest!”

Winston’s Wish helps children and young people rebuild their lives after the death of their mum, dad, brother or sister, enabling them to face the future with confidence and hope.

Each year, Winston’s Wish supports over 30,000 bereaved children and young people through an array of dedicated services.
