Winston’s Wish, the leading charity for bereaved children in the UK, is delighted to receive support from the swim school Puddleducks.

This week (12-18th October), the swim school is having pyjama week which sees the children (over 430 students in total) collecting sponsorship and learning lifesaving skills.

The group aim to raise over £1,000 towards the work Winston’s Wish carries out with bereaved children and their families.

Rebecca Turner from Puddleducks recently lost her husband and called the Winston’s Wish Helpline for support through this bereavement. The charity was able to offer advice on how to speak to her four year old son about such a difficult subject.

Rebecca is happy to offer free swimming sessions and discounted lessons to families Winston’s Wish is working with.
